I, Achintam, was born and brought up in West Bengal, a state in India. From class 7 when I was in school I started finding ways to make up my daily expenses ( as a kid it was quite less ). That is when I discovered Ghostwriting, and slowly started taking up projects from my close ones to learn about it and also make decent bucks out of it, Cool yah?

Author Achintam Karmakar
This is me back in my hometown West Bengal, India, attending my cousin brother engagement.

And slowly transited towards making niche websites for a living, and during these phase, I moved with my grandmother, (that area was mostly covered with muslim population) where I stayed for quite a few years that is when I got an interest in Islam especially due to its discipline that they follow and abide by.

After helping my grandmother in the kitchen, I used to study different Islamic Scholars and their principles, such as Abdul Khaliq Sambhali, Omar Suleiman, and Ibn Hazm.

What surprised me was few of my Muslim friends who came from the middle east were finding it to differentiate between halal and haram in a lot of food and different stuff.

So What Makes me Eligible to Guide Them? Am I a Muslim?

No, I am a Hindu by birth. But I found Islamic principles equally good, that is what pushed me to read different Islamic books, and I read new ones to date and will continue to do so 🙂. I don’t feel one needs to be Islam to be eligible enough to guide through certain queries around it, rather being knowledgeable about what one is speaking is important.

This is what pushed me towards starting Islamictaqwa.com and sharing as much knowledge as I have and information that I can gather transparently.

Lastly, you might find some of my posts don’t have a conclusion all the time, that is due to differences in the opinion of different Islamic Scholars. In that case, I make sure to give information as much as possible with both side POV, so you can take the final decision.
