Is Qiji Halal?

Singapore is one of the fattest growing tech hubs and is filled with 100s of fast food joints. While Islam makes upto 15% population of Singapore, food joints providing halal food or not become a significant concern.

If you’re a Muslim living in Singapore, you may have asked yourself this question: Is Qiji halal? Qiji has strictly mentioned on their website homepage that their food is under halal and ISO certification standards.

What is Qiji?

Qiji is a fast food joint in Singapore, and they also serve functions according to the need of their clients. They have two stores in the central, six in the north, three in the east, and three in the west. Besides this, they are continuously expanding throughout the city. 

They are very vocal about always using fresh, premium products even if their profits hit them. It offers a seasonal menu and thus uses seasonal ingredients. 

Does Qiji Provide Halal Certification?

Besides being 100% Halal, Qiji provides halal certification for all its products. So if you are a Muslim, you can consume their products without a second thought. 

A small hack 😉 If you visit them for the first time, try to ask if there is any meal that is supposed to be the best for that day.

Qiji Menu

Qiji provides seven different categories of menus. Those are:

  3. Popiah
  4. Nasi lemak
  5. Appetizers and Dessert
  6. Noodles
  7. Beverage

What is Qiji Signature Dish?

While pretty much the majority of their dishes are a big hit. Qiji’s signature dishes include Handmade Popiah and Nasi Lemak. Popiah is made out of sweets and chilly sauces. They don’t use peanuts as it is allergic to some people. Instead, they use golden crispy bits. It is soft, flavourful and chewy. 

Whereas Nasi Lemak is made of rice cooked in coconut milk and plant leaf spices and served with special sauce and egg ( optional ). 

Conclusion

So it is confirmed that Qiji is halal and can be consumed by Muslims. Still, one can contact the respective outlet manager in case of any queries.
